In the 1990’s, I moved to the Las Vegas area where I began taking classes at the Las Vegas Art Museum. Other institutions where I studied include the Clark County Community College, Reed Whipple Community Center, and Left Of Center Art Gallery.
At the gallery, I enrolled in an abstract painting seminar. This type of painting gave me a chance to explore forms, shapes, and color in an unrestricted way. Despite, or perhaps because of my lack of a solid background in color theory, I have attempted to portray my interpretation of sound, motion, and emotions through abstract expressionism.
